Every winter, fishermen off Fenwick hear bells under the water, from a village the sea took in 1703. This winter, someone has started drawing a map of where the bells ring, and the people on it are disappearing.
Nell Fenwick has a ledger to finish, a lighthouse to save, and a very bad feeling about the next mark on the map.
